Moving States

I was born in Annapolis, Maryland on August 1, 2000. When my parents got divorced in 2008, I moved to a rural area in Northeastern Pennsylvania. This move was very hard for me. Not only were my parents getting divorced, but I was also moving to a whole new state, attending a whole new school, and had to make all new friends at the age of 8. In Annapolis, I lived in a suburban area. My best friend lived 5 houses down in my neighborhood and my school was a 5 minute bus ride away. When I moved to Pennsylvania, I had to adapt to a whole new area. We moved to such a rural place. My closest neighbor was a mile away and my school was an hour bus ride away. It was all so different for me. But I learned to love Pennsylvania and the country area I moved to.
